Account Manager

Responsibilities

  • Assist with answering incoming calls.
  • Maintain a positive and welcoming environment.
  • Manage and as applicable, perform annual policy reviews for existing clients and identify cross-sell opportunities through risk management analysis.
  • Minimum cross-sell 10 new policies and refer 4 new customers, per month.
  • Maintain client files and ensure proper documentation.
  • Process payments, endorsements, and answer any coverage or billing questions.
  • Develop and maintain client and underwriting relationships.
  • Value sell importance of having an independent agent.
  • Keep up to date on carrier knowledge and underwriting guidelines.
  • Process applications and review for accuracy.  Secure all trailing documents.
  • Solicit new business from generated leads (i.e. win backs, policy(ies) not sold, etc.)
  • Obtain minimum of 4 Life/Group Health referrals, per month.
  • Oversee that the growth and relationships for the concierge lists is being met.
  • Oversee that mailouts are being done on a consistent basis.
  • Responsible for goals set forth on reporting team.
  • Responsible for the overall achievement of the retention rate and customer service satisfaction of the agency.
  • Management may, at its discretion, assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

Prior Requirements:

  • P&C license required.
  • Minimum of 4 years college degree or 4 years work experience.
  • Proficient MS Office Skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver attentive, knowledgeable, confident, helpful, and prompt solutions and support.
  • The ability to seek out, accept and integrate feedback professionally.

Account Executive (2 openings)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive and welcoming environment
  • Solicit new business from generated leads and marketing campaigns
  • Requote polices that were never sold
  • Follow outlines quoting process to achieve new business agency sales goals
  • Maintain client files and ensure proper documentation.
  • Develop and maintain networking relationships with new referral partners with Agency website
  • Value sell importance of having an independent agent
  • Keep up to date on carrier knowledge and underwriting guidelines
  • Process applications and review for accuracy.  Secure all trailing documents.
  • Management may, at its discretion, assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time
  • Customize product solutions for customer needs
  • Stay up to date with products/services within the industry
  • Referrals 30%
  • 75% of all business to be multi-line (2+ policies)

Prior Requirements:

  • Licensed in Property & Casulaty
  • BS, BA and/or 3 years plus relevant work experience in insurance sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of commercial lines products, service and value propositions.
  • Able to multi-task in an environment where initiative and self-motivation is a plus.
  • Must have knowledge of MS Office.

Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones in a positive, friendly manner. Greet “walk-in clients immediately and help.
  • Maintain a positive and welcoming environment.
  • Login to agency management system and all carrier sites to complete inbox, phone inquiries, follow ups and agency tasks.  Forward to appropriate agent/agency as applicable.
  • Notate all interactions and upload relevant correspondence and documentation corresponding to all interactions as needed to maintain client files.
  • Process requests for certificates of insurance for commercial policies
  • Achieve retention rate of 90 – 95% by following outlined processes and procedures.
  • Claims- contact customer, start drip campaign.  (Log into carrier website as needed.)
  • Track and process payments, endorsements, and answer any coverage or billing questions.
  • Contact insured (or mortgage companies) directly regarding coming due, past due payments, and urgent underwriting notifications to resolve.
  • Communicate with carriers to address and determine next steps for a resolution on behalf of the customer.
  • Bind commercial policy(ies) and mail to addressee.
  • Process mail and distribute to other agencies or if agency mail, scan to management system.
  • Record commission, and premium account checks received, prepare for deposit.  Process payments from sweep account.
  • Process bulk mailouts and prepare for delivery to post office.
  • Audit other agencies’ documents (quotes, signed apps, etc.)
  • Complete intake quote sheets for potential customers and provide to Account Executive as applicable.
  • Value sell importance of having an independent agent.
  • Keep up to date on carrier knowledge and underwriting guidelines.
  • Ask for referrals.
  • Management may, at its discretion, assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
